FEYERABEND FRANTZ : AQUARELLE GOUACHÉE, GRENADIER D'INFANTERIE 1774, Ancienne Monarchie.

Aquarelle originale, H 31 cm, largeur 21,5 cm, représentant un soldat d'infanterie en bonnet à poils, signée « Frantz Feyerabend 1774 » en bas à gauche.
Elle est présentée sous verre dans un cadre en bois doré, H 46 cm, largeur 36 cm.

Frantz FEYERABEND :
Peintre de portraits à l'huile, à la gouache et à l'aquarelle, né à Bâle en 1755, mort en 1800. Portraitiste vers 1780 puis caricaturiste. Parmi les gravures, on mentionne 26 planches d'uniformes exécutées en 1792. Le musée de Colmar conserve des gouaches de cet artiste.
