Manon Roland, born Jeanne Marie Phlipon on March 17, 1754 in Paris, and guillotined in the same city on November 8, 1793, is a French salonnière and political figure.
She was one of the figures of the French Revolution and played a major role within the Girondin party. She pushed her husband, Jean-Marie Roland de La Platière, to the forefront of political life from 1791 to 1793.
