Monture en noyer à long fût insculpé sur la crosse du nom de la manufacture de « Saint Étienne » et du cachet avec initiale « MI », Manufacture Impériale et daté de « 1866 ». Toutes garnitures an acier.
Daté sur le tonnerre « 1825 », indication du calibre sur le côté gauche « Cde18 », du numéro de l'arme « 1501 ».
Platine réglementairement transformée à percussion, emplacement du bassinet bouché. Gravée au nom de la « Mre Rle de St Etienne » (Manufacture Royale de Saint Étienne ).
Baguette en fer. Avec sa baïonnette à douille.
Longueur totale de l'arme : 1,40 m
