CORDON RAQUETTE DE BONNET À POILS DES GRENADIERS À PIED DE LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE, MODÈLE 1854, SECOND EMPIRE (1854-1860).

Cordon blanc composé : d’une simple tresse à l’arrière (largeur 2,8 cm, longueur de la partie tressée 33 cm, longueur du cordon d’attache environ 14 cm replié en deux soit 7 cm, longueur du cordon reliant les deux parties tressées arrières et avant 11 cm) et d’une double tresse à l’avant (largeur 3,5 cm, longueur de la partie tressée 48 cm, longueur du cordon d’attache à la raquette environ 13 cm, passant coulissant entre le cordon et la raquette hauteur 1,3 cm, diamètre 1,8 cm), terminé par une raquette de forme ovale (hauteur 12,5 cm, largeur 6,5 cm) tressées avec quatre brins de bourdon, terminée par un gland à cabochon tissé en point milan sur une forme en bois, hauteur 5 cm, et des franges de 6 cm de long.
