Polished brass hilt, guard with triple lateral branches, short-tailed pommel and ferrule on a wooden handle covered with leather and filigreed with brass. Guard stamped with the Versailles manufacturer's mark and the "JC" stamp in an oval of J. Cazamajou, inspector from 1809 to 1811. Klingenthal blade measuring 97 cm with double hollow sides, raised point, and back engraved with "Mfture Imple du Klingenthal Coulaux frères," stamped with "B" of the first-class controller J.G. Bick (1809-1819), "M" under a star from inspector Marion (1808-1811). Natural leather knot. Blackened leather scabbard with three brass fittings, steel rings.
