Monture en laiton. Garde à quatre branches. Plateau décoré de deux étoiles en métal argenté. Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en corne, filigrane manquant. Lame droite à gouttières, longueur 96 cm, gravée sur son dos « Mre d'armes de Châtt juin 1878 - O. d'Etat major Mle 1855 ». Cravate en buffle naturel. Fourreau en acier à deux bracelets de bélière.
