Fragment central d'un drapeau tranché -c'est-à-dire mi partie blanc, mi partie vert pour le 3ème bataillon-. Au centre, entre deux branches de feuilles de chêne et de laurier vert, les Armes de France (écu bleu azur à trois fleurs de lys or) surmontées de la couronne royale. Cet écu est entouré des colliers de l'Ordre de Saint Michel et du Saint Esprit avec la main de justice et le sceptre passés derrière en sautoir.
Dimensions du fragment : 79 x 67 cm.
Présenté sous verre dans un encadrement en bois doré.
