Banderole en buffle blanchi (largeur 5,5 cm) à garnitures de laiton doré avec sur la partie avant une tête de lion en relief tenant dans sa gueule trois chaînettes terminées par des épinglettes venant se fixer à un écu en laiton doré estampé en relief du coq gaulois entouré d'une branche de chêne et de laurier.

Coffret en bois gainé de basane noire (H 7,5 cm, largeur 13 cm, épaisseur 2,8 cm). Pattelette en cuir verni noir (H 9,5 cm, largeur maxi. 17 cm) encadré d'un jonc de laiton doré avec au centre un coq gaulois entouré d'une branche de chêne et de laurier estampé en relief et découpé.

Bon état de conservation, la banderole composite a été renforcée à l'arrière par des basanes plus modernes, les garnitures ont été remontées. Coffret en très bon état, velours arrière ancien mais changé.
