En drap écarlate passepoilé bleu foncé avec sur chaque côté des manches du pantalon un double galonnage de laine blanche remonté postérieurement. Braguette fermant au moyen de 4 boutons en os. Ceinture intérieure en toile beige avec cachet de réception du 5ème régiment de hussards, matriculée « 1574 » puis « 1864 », datée du 2è trimestre 1869.

Assez bon état avec quelques trous de mites et deux réparations au niveau de la ceinture et en dessous à l'arrière sur environ 8 cm x 7 cm.
