Octagonal barrel with a thunder, stamped by the inspector Pacne, the 1st controller Bouny, and the reviewer Le Fevre, measuring 1.026 meters in length, with the breech 1.09 meters long. Caliber 17 mm. The engravings of the barrel with the Arms of France are extremely faded but visible. The bluing is largely faded, with only a few faint traces of gold remaining in the background of the engravings and on the stamps. The inscription "King's Bodyguards" has been removed. Breech with a recess.
Walnut stock with a long shaft engraved on the buttstock with an oval stamp "M C" topped with a crown.
All brass fittings secured to the stock by steel springs. Brass trigger guard cut in the shape of a fleur-de-lis, engraved. Buttplate marked "N 64" with a return ending in an engraved fleur-de-lis shape. The screws of the lock plate, counterplate, trigger guard, and buttplate are steel with chiseled heads.
Lock plate with drum signed "Manufre Rle de Charleville."
Iron ramrod.
Total length of the weapon: 1.434 meters.

Very good state of preservation except for the barrel, which has lost its colors and a large part of its engravings.
