Allemagne, royaume de Saxe - Ordre Militaire de Saint-Henri, fondé en 1736 et modifié en 1807.

France ou Allemagne, premier tiers du XIXe siècle.

Note :
Plus haute récompense militaire du royaume de Saxe jusqu’à sa disparition en 1918, l’ordre de Saint-Henri était réservé aux officiers. Sous l’Empire, les plaques officielles étant en broderie, les chevaliers commandaient à des fournisseurs privés des plaques métalliques plus luxueuses. Mais ces orfèvres pouvaient commettre des erreurs d’interprétation, ainsi de cette plaque qui reprend la dédicace de l’avers de la croix de l’ordre et non la légende figurant au revers de celle-ci : « VIRTUTI IN BELLO ».
