In silver metal, octagonal in shape, with a wide flat loop at the top. Obverse depicting Liberty with the inscription "LIERTE / MARTIAL FEDERATION HELD IN LYON ON MAY 30, 1790." Reverse decorated in the center with a bundle of fasces crowned with a Phrygian cap, caduceus, and olive branch; "PATRIOTISM AND FREEDOM HAVE UNITED US".
