MÉDAILLON DE VÉTÉRANCE, MÉDAILLON POUR LA GENDARMERIE ROYALE ET MARÉCHAUSSÉE DES DEUX ÉPÉES, RÉDUCTION, ANCIENNE MONARCHIE, DERNIER TIERS DU XVIIIème SIÈCLE.

En laiton doré ajouré de forme ovale. Il représente deux branches de laurier formant une couronne entourant un bâton de commandement fleurdelisé en pal avec deux épées croisées en sautoir, le tout sommé d'une couronne royale, anneau rond ciselé (probablement changé), ruban ancien. L'arrière est renforcé d'orgine de deux petites barettes de laiton rivetées. 58 x 56 mm, épaisseur environ 2,7 mm.
