FLAMME DE TROMPETTE DU 1ER RÉGIMENT DE CUIRASSIERS OU D'RTILLERIE À CHEVAL DE LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE DE NAPOLÉON III, SECOND EMPIRE.

En drap bleu foncé de forme presque carrée avec les bords inférieurs arrondis, H sans les franges 44,5 cm, largeur sans les franges 44,7 cm, franges en laine garance, H 8,5 cm. Elle est bordée d'un galon en laine garance tissé cul-de-dé de 2,3 cm de large. En son centre, est brodée en laine garance une « N » de 8,5 cm de haut surmontée d'une couronne impériale pareillement brodée, H 8,5 cm, avec à sa base un ruban noué, H de la couronne et du ruban 16,5 cm.
La partie haute de la flamme est renforcée dans sa doublure intérieure d'une âme en fanon de baleine. Deux lanières (en galon identique à celui de la flamme) permettent la fixation à la trompette au moyen de deux petits boutons grelot en laiton.
