LETTRE MANUSCRITE AUTOGRAPHE SIGNÉE « LACÉPÈDE, À PARIS LE 16 MAI 1809 », Premier Empire.

Lettre manuscrite, H 31,5 cm, largeur 21 cm. Datée de 1809, adressée à Barbe-Marbois dans laquelle il lui demande d'appuyer le souhait de Jacques Tecmen qui souhaite un poste dans les bureaux de la Cour des comptes, lui-même ne pouvant lui en procurer un, bien qu'il soit le frère d'un des visiteurs principaux des domaines de la Légion d'honneur. Autographe de Lacépède Bernard Germain Étienne de Laville-sur-Illon (comte de), naturaliste et homme politique, président du Sénat, premier grand chancelier de la Légion d'honneur 1803 (Agen 1756, Épinay-sur-Seine 1825). Il fut président de l'Assemblée législative puis du Sénat 1801. Grand maître de l'université pendant les Cent-Jours et pair de France sous Louis XVIII.
