SABRE DES GENDARMES DE LA MAISON MILITAIRE DU ROI, MODÈLE 1814, RESTAURATION.

Garde en bronze doré. Monture à trois branches formant coquille fondue en relief d'un blason aux trois fleurs de lys surmontées de la couronne royale et encadrées d'une branche de chêne et d'une branche de laurier, le tout surmontant le fuseau de Jupiter étincelant. Calotte à longue queue moulée en relief de rinceaux et corolles de feuillages. Poignée en bois recouvert de veau filigrané cuivre.
Lame droite à gouttières, blanche, gravée de trophées militaires, de feuillages et du soleil rayonnant et gravée à son talon « I. S. &. C », longueur 88,5 cm, largeur au talon 3,1 cm, épaisseur 0,9 cm). Cravate en cuir naturel.
Fourreau droit en acier, sans bracelets de bélière, pitons et anneaux de bélières en acier, chape en laiton doré gravée de feuillages et de toiles d'araignée.

Très bon état, dorure en partie absente.
