En cuir verni noir avec au centre les grandes Armes Impériales estampées dans une plaque de laiton doré. H de la pattelette 27 cm, largeur en partie haute 15,3 cm, largeur en partie basse 24,5 cm. Plaque centrale : 16,5 cm x 12,5 cm.
À l'intérieur de la pattelette une poche en cuir écarlate est aménagée.
Trois anneaux de suspension en laiton.

Bon état, le cuir verni de la pattelette est craquelé, la plaque a gardé toute sa dorure.
