PLASTRON DE CUIRASSE DE CARABINIER, MODÈLE 1830 MODIFIÉ 1854, SECOND EMPIRE.

Plastron en acier plaqué d’une feuille de laiton. Plastron bordé de 10 clous en laiton et doublé d’une feuille de laiton elle-même bordée de 6 rivets de laiton. Au centre est fixée une gloire en acier en forme de soleil rayonnant sur laquelle est rapporté un insigne ovale en laiton estampé d'une aigle impériale sur fond sablé encadré de branches de laurier. Le plastron est marqué à l'intérieur « Manufre Rle de Klingenthal 7bre 1833 - 2T. 1L N° 2184 ». Il est complet de ses crochets de fixation pour la matelassure.
Très bon état, à nettoyer. France. Second Empire.
