Monture en laiton. Garde à trois branches formant des volutes. En partie basse, la fleur de lys présente sur le modèle 1783 a été mutilée et transformée en faisceau de licteurs coiffé d'un bonnet révolutionnaire (modification faite à partir de 1792). Plateau poinçonné au coq et marqué « DUMONT ». Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau filigrané laiton. Lame plate droite poinçonnée au faisceau de licteurs, longueur 95,8 cm. Fourreau en cuir verni noir à trois garnitures de laiton dont les bords sont découpés en festons et deux anneaux de bélière en acier.

Très bon état, le cuir du fourreau en bon état avec trois pliures non cassées.
