Wooden stock with long shaft; all fittings in brass.
Flintlock signed by the Saint Etienne Manufacture.
Barrel dated "76" and bears the fleur de lys and royal crown proof marks, breech dated "176".
Barrel length 22.9 cm, length with breech 28 cm.
Ramrod with nail head.
Total length of the pistol 40.4 cm.
Wood dated "1776 MA..".

Good condition, slight oxidation, screws and upper jaw of the cock replaced at a later date, ancient wood fracture behind the lock with period repair.
