En drap amarante, coupé légèrement en biais, H du tapis plié en deux à l'arrière 58 cm, H du tapis plié en deux à l'avant 49 cm, largeur en partie haute 65 cm, largeur en partie basse 78 cm. Il est bordé d'un double galon du modèle des officiers généraux en passementerie dorée (galon extérieur de 5,8 cm de large, galon intérieur de 2,3 cm de large). En partie basse, renforts au niveau des jambes en maroquin bordeaux (H 12 cm, largeur 24 cm).
Il est doublé de feutre ivoire.

Assez bon état, oxydation d'usage des galons, quelques trous de mites dont un plus important qui a été restauré sur une hauteur d'environ 19 cm et 3 cm de large.
