Monture en laiton à la hongroise. Garde à une branche. Calotte unie à longue queue. Poignée en bois recouvert de veau ciré noir. Lame courbe à pans-creux de 73,5 cm de longueur, largeur au talon 3,5 cm ; elle est gravée sur une face d'un hussard chargeant avec inscription « Vivat hussar » avec croissant de lune et étoiles. De l'autre côté, la lame est gravée des Armes de France surmontées de l'inscription « Vive le Roy » elle-même surmontée du soleil rayonnant et d'une couronne de laurier. Sans fourreau.

Bon état, la monture est en très bon état, la lame a des traces d'oxydation d'usage et quelques points plus importants sur le dernier tiers.
