Coffret en cuir ciré noir avec flancs en laiton doré. Pattelette (largeur maxi. 17 cm, largeur mini. 14,7 cm, H 9,5 cm) avec bordure en jonc doré et insigne central estampé en laiton doré représentant le coq gaulois posé sur un faisceau de drapeaux avec branche de chêne et branche de laurier. Banderole en veau laqué blanc, largeur 5,6 cm, à garnitures et bouclerie en bronze doré avec écu décoré du coq et surmonté d'un insigne à tête de lion, ces deux dernières garnitures étant reliées entre elles par trois chaînettes épinglettes.

Assez bon état, le verni de la pattelette est usagé, le laquage de la banderole est fatigué par endroits.
