CEINTURON DE GRANDE TENUE AYANT APPARTENU À ACHILLE FERDINAND DE LA CROIX DE BEAUREPOS, GENDARME DE LA MAISON DU ROI, RESTAURATION.

Plaque de ceinturon en bronze fondu, de forme rectangulaire, H 7,6 cm, largeur sans la courbure 8,5 cm. Elle est décorée en relief du fuseau de Jupiter, avec flammes et éclairs sur fond sable, le plateau est bordé d'une moulure torsadée. Complète de son pontet à deux ardillons et crochet arrière. Doublée de veau blanc.

Ceinturon en toile gainée de drap écarlate et recouvert sur toute sa hauteur d'un galon d'or de 6,7 cm de haut à cinq raies de soie noire. Il se termine par un crochet en laiton destiné à être fixé au plateau. Complet de ses deux courroies de suspension de sabre, en toile gainée de drap écarlate, recouvert d'un galon d'or à deux filets de soie noire, largeur 2,6 cm, terminées en partie basse par deux boucles rectangulaire en bronze doré et ciselé, H 6,6 cm, largeur 3,7 cm, auxquelles est fixée une petite courroie de veau blanc recouvert de maroquin ciré écarlate destinée à la fixation du sabre.

Très bon état, quelques usures superficielles.

Ce ceinturon provient des descendants d'Achille Ferdinand de la Croix de Beaurepos, gendarme à la 4ème brigade en 1814.
