BRONZE PATINÉ EXÉCUTÉ PAR GEORGES OMERTH REPRÉSENTANT UN MARÉCHAL FRANÇAIS.

Buste en bronze d'une hauteur de 24,5 cm exécuté par Georges Omerth (1895-1925). Ce sculpteur, en trente années d'existence réalisa une oeuvre prolixe allant de modèles animaliers à des sujets militaires.
L'oeuvre, ici présentée, représente le Maréchal britannique French (1852-1825) qui se distingua entre autre lors de la campagne du Soudan (1884), lors de la guerre des Boers (1899-1901), et qui commanda entre 1914 et 1915 le corps expéditionnaire anglais en France.
