SERGENT SAPEUR D'INFANTERIE DE LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE : PORTRAIT MINIATURE, PREMIER EMPIRE.

Miniature sur ivoire de forme ronde, diamètre 5,8 cm, représentant un uniforme rare : un sergent d'infanterie de la Garde Impériale Premier Empire avec spécialité de sapeur et chevrons d'ancienneté. Il est représenté en buste en uniforme bleu foncé, boutons de laiton, épaulettes or mélangé écarlate, collet galonné or, sur la manche de gauche un chevron d'ancienneté or avec deux haches croisées or sur fond écarlate. Sur la poitrine, il porte l'étoile d'officier de la légion d'honneur. Présentée sous verre avec cadre en laiton doré, diamètre 7,3 cm.

État moyen, quelques manques et éclats, l'ivoire est fendu sur la partie gauche (visible sur les photos).
