Miniature sur ivoire de grande taille : H 15,3 cm, largeur 10,8 cm.
Non encadrée. Elle représente de profil un de brigade général en grand uniforme de général : habit bleu brodé de feuilles de chêne or, épaulettes d'or à deux étoiles d'argent, ceinture-écharpe en passementerie or et bleu de ciel, plaque de ceinturon or avec ceinturon porte-sabre bleu de ciel brodé or. Le général porte l'étoile de la Légion d'Honneur.
