Canon rayé à cinq pans courts du système an IX, longueur sans la queue de culasse 75,4 cm, avec la queue de culasse 81 cm.
Platine du mousqueton an IX signée « Manufacture de Versailles ».
Calibre 17 mm. Fût dégageant le canon.
Crosse à joue.
Toutes garnitures en laiton.
Embouchoir avec bec prononcé fixé par un ressort tout comme la grenadière.
Sous-garde en laiton.
Plaque de couche en laiton.
Vis de contre-platine à rosette en laiton et anneau d'acier (anneau changé postérieurement).
Têtes de vis plates.
Baguette avec tête en forme de clou.

Longueur totale du fusil 1 m 125.

Assez bon état, canon oxydé, fêle au bois en partie avant de la platine sur 10 cm, marquage de platine en partie effacé, réparation ancienne au ressort de platine.
