CASQUETTE DE MARINE POUR LES ANCIENS COMBATTANTS DE LA GUERRE DE 1870, TROISIÈME RÉPUBLIQUE.

En drap bleu foncé avec bandeau portant en son centre un ruban de soie tricolore encadré de chaque côté d'un filet noir et vert pomme. Insigne en laiton argenté au sommet de la coiffe, découpé et estampé en relief d'un casque et d'une cuirasse de cuirassier de 1872 avec trophée militaire et un ruban portant l'inscription « Oublier jamais ». Fausse jugulaire en cuir verni noir à passementerie or maintenue à la casquette au moyen de deux petits boutons d'uniforme en laiton doré décorés de l'ancre de marine. Visière en cuir ciré noir doublé de maroquin vert à l'intérieur. Coiffe intérieure composée d'un bandeau ciré brun et de soie fuchsia.
