SHAKO D'INFANTERIE ITALIENNE, EN USAGE DANS LA CAMPAGNE DE 1849, MILIEU XIX° SIÈCLE

Fût en cuir gainé de drap écarlate, H 14 cm à l'avant, 17 cm à l'arrière, avec en partie basse un large bourdalou en cuir verni noir de 4 cm de haut. Calotte en cuir verni noir de 13 cm de diamètre. Visière en cuir verni noir de forme ronde, largeur 5 cm. Le shako est agrémenté à l'avant, au niveau du bourdalou, du chiffre « 1 » découpé en maillechort. La cocarde, ganse et bouton décorant l'avant du shako à l'origine ont disparu. Coiffe manquante.

Mauvais état, drap insolé et mité.
