Oval-shaped, depicted in bust wearing a dark blue uniform with scarlet piping, adorned with gold uniform buttons, epaulettes, and a fringed shoulder strap with large braids known as "spinach seed." He is wearing the officer's cross of the Legion of Honor. Height 5.2 cm, width 4.2 cm.
Presented in a brass frame (height 6.5 cm, width 5.5 cm), under glass, set in a wooden shadow-box frame, height 10.8 cm, width 9.8 cm.
