BROADSWORD ÉCOSSAISE D'OFFICIER DES «HIGHLAND-INFANTERIE», MODÈLE 1828 (VERS 1844 - 1856), RÈGNE DE LA REINE VICTORIA.

Monture en panier entièrement en fer richement agrémenté de décors découpés en forme de coeurs et perles, pommeau vissé, fusée en bois gainé peau de raie à filigrane sur-lié d’argent. Garniture de drap écarlate doublée de veau blanc. Lame à talon, gouttières et double tranchant de 81 cm de long, marquée à l’eau forte de « Meyer et Mortimer à Edinburg » (associés d’abord à Londres de 1812 à 1821, puis à Edimbourg entre 1844 et 1856).
Fourreau de cuir fort à garnitures de fer ornées à filets. Très bon état.
