Calot et turban en drap fin garance, bandeau en vert foncé, soutaches plates de grade or, du modèle adopté avant 1883.
Petits boutons dorés, estampés des symboles du Corps médical, maintiennent et la fausse jugulaire dorée à la couleur de l'arme, et la jugulaire à doubles coulisses de cérémonie en cuir noir verni bordés d'une fine soutache or.
Visière de forme arrondie en cuir verni noir, bordée d'un jonc cousu, doublée de cuir brun.
Dessus de calot orné d'un noeud hongrois à triple brins propre aux officiers supérieurs.
Intérieur de coiffe en soie noire, bandeau de transpiration en fine basane noire.
Tour de tête 55 cm
