Full dress model of the 1852 regulations, in black felt known as “Flemish” edged with a large gold braid of the type known as “general's edge”, with scalloped crested edge, woven with a double oak branch with its fruits (width 7.2 cm), a curly white ostrich feather is sewn against each of the interior edges, braid formed of three matt gold twists, they are doubled around the button and held by this same uniform button gilded large model module for general officers (half-curved, burnished and matt gilded, stamped and relief of the generals' insignia with crest stamped with the imperial eagle), tricolor cockade in goat's hair.
Ivory silk headdress marked in gold “PREVEL 8, Rue Richelieu, 8 PARIS. », inner band in ocher leather, complete but partly unstitched.
Length: 47.5 cm – width: 17 cm – Height: 17.5 cm.
In a black painted wooden transport box, interior padded in pink silk (insulated).
Good condition, rubbed felt, trimmings with oxidation.
