PLUME HOLDER PLAQUE OF AN OFFICER OF THE GRENADIERS OF THE ROYAL GUARD, 1816 MODEL, RESTORATION PERIOD.
Made of copper plated with gold, embossed in relief with the Arms of France on a background of a bundle of flags with two bursting bombs in the corners. Height in the center 15.5 cm, width 20.4 cm.
In good condition, the plaque has retained 70% of its gilding, it is cracked in the center at the lower part for 2.3 cm high (no missing pieces).

This model of plaque is very rare to find, the vast majority of existing specimens are reproductions from the late 19th century, the officer model is even rarer.
