PLAQUE DE GIBERNE DE LA GARDE NATIONALE, MODÈLE 1789, MONARCHIE CONSTITUTIONNELLE.

Plaque en laiton estampé, de forme ovale, H 9,2 cm, largeur 11,7 cm. Elle est décorée en relief d'une épée surmontée d'un bonnet rouge posée sur un tonneau de poudre séparant un double blason ovale : d'un côté aux Armes de France surmontées de la couronne royale et de l'autre d'un faisceau de licteurs avec l'inscription « NOTRE REUNION FAIT NOTRE FORCE » surmontée de la couronne civique. En partie haute, un ruban porte l'inscription « LA NATION LA LOI LA LIBERTÉ », le tout posé sur un faisceau de drapeaux et trophée de canons. Les bords extérieurs sont repliés sur eux-mêmes et enchâssent un fil de fer formant quatre boucles permettant la fixation à la giberne.
