Cylindrical barrel with two side pans at the breech, length 18.9 cm, marked "85". Square breech tail, overall length of the barrel with the breech tail 22 cm. Heel drilled for the rear screw of the lock plate, blind hole threaded for the front trigger guard screw beneath the heel. 1777 model lock plate, length 12.5 cm, signed "Mre Rle de Tulle", stamped with "R" under a crown, pointed at the rear end. Brass pan. Stock shaped like the 1777 box lock pistol. Iron trigger guard and fittings fixed to the rear by the high screw of the pommel cap and to the front by a screw into the hole under the breech heel. Iron grip strap engaged under the breech tail and secured by its screw, rear part engaged under the pommel cap and held by its high screw. Brass trigger guard. Brass mouthpiece encircling the barrel and stock, inner part fixed under the trigger guard. Very elongated front sight and ramrod hole. Brass pommel cap fixed by two screws. Steel belt hook fixed by the rear screw of the counter plate. A hook near the loop prevents the hook from turning. Iron ramrod, with a nail-shaped head.
