Monture en laiton, garde à quatre branches poinçonnée du « W » surmonté d'une étoile du contrôleur S. Wideman, juin 1836-décembre 1843, du « P » sous étoile du directeur C.L.C. Duport de Pontcharra, 1837-1839. Calotte à courte queue, poignée de veau filigrané laiton. Lame courbe à un pan creux, longueur 97,7 cm, le dos est gravé « Manufacture royale de Châtellerault juin 1838 », pareillement poinçonnée à la monture. Cravate en buffle brun. Fourreau à deux bracelets de bélière.
