Very beautiful original watercolor, height 30 cm x width 22.50 cm (on drawing paper height 39.50 cm x width 30 cm), signed at the bottom "de MOLTZHEIM".

Perfect state of conservation.

Late 19th century period.

This watercolor is part of a collection painted between 1875 and 1881.

Auguste Louis Victor de Moltzheim (1822-1881) voluntarily enlisted at the age of 18 in the artillery train, appointed lieutenant in the artillery corps in 1854, he participated in the Crimean campaign in 1855, promoted to the rank of captain in 1860, took part in the Algeria campaign 1860-1861, Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honor in 1869.
