Monture multibranches de fer noirci à fusée de bois filigranée et virolée de laiton. Lame forte de 78 cm (peut-être raccourcie) gravée coté extérieur « chevau légers » suivi d’un dauphin figuré puis de « msr le dauphin ». L’autre face comporte la devise du corps « pericula ludus » avec le blason du Dauphin brochant sur un trophée et suivi de 1662 qui est la date de création de la compagnie. Pommeau matriculé. Sans fourreau.

Très bon état, lame oxydée et tachée mais gravure bien visible.
