Probablement destinée à un officier comme le suggère le pommeau octogonal et les profils à pans de la monture, cette forte-épée est composée d’une branche simple à double pontat et quillon, et d’une fusée de bois filigranée et virolée de laiton. Forte lame droite à méplat médian et double tranchant de 95,5 cm dont les gravures très effacées laissent deviner le blason royal d’un côté et de « vive le roy » en grandes cursives de l’autre. Une trace oblique située à 33 cm de la pointe dévoile une ancienne réparation.

Très bon état, lame avec oxydation d'usage.
