Monture en laiton, garde à quatre branches décorées de feuilles de laurier. Calotte à bourrelet décorée de branches de laurier, courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau ciré noir filigrané laiton. Lame courbe à un pan creux, longueur 96,5 cm, gravée sur son avers « DONNÉ PAR LE ROI. ». Dos gravé « Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal septembre 1843 ». Fourreau en tôle d'acier à deux bracelets de bélière poinçonné à l'arrière près de l'entrée de cuvette « Manceaux a Paris ».
