Very beautiful original watercolor, measuring 30 cm in height x 22.50 cm in width (on drawing paper measuring 39.50 cm in height x 30 cm in width), signed at the bottom "de MOLTZHEIM".

Perfect state of preservation.

Late 19th century era.

This watercolor is part of a collection painted between 1875 and 1881.

Auguste Louis Victor de Moltzheim (1822-1881) volunteered at the age of 18 with the artillery train, appointed lieutenant in the artillery corps in 1854, participated in the Crimean campaign in 1855, promoted to captain in 1860, served in the Algerian campaign 1860-1861, Knight in the Legion of Honor in 1869.
