Garde en laiton à trois branches, non matriculée. Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau et d'un filigrane torsadé de laiton.
Lame courbe à pans creux, dos gravé « Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal février 1828 ». Longueur 91 cm, largeur au talon 3,1 cm, épaisseur au talon 1,0 cm.
Fourreau en acier à un anneaux de bélière, non matriculé, modifié sous la Troisième République. Rouillé comme illustré sur les photographies.

Dragonne en cuir fort marron clair. Housse de protection de sabre en toile cachou et renfort de cuir souple marron clair.

Arme laissée dans son état de découverte, bon état.
