Monture en laiton, garde à quatre branches, calotte à courte queue avec une fleur de lys gravée sur le dessus ; elle forme une coquille moulée en relief d'un blason aux trois fleurs de lys faisant face à un blason aux armes de Savoie ; les deux blasons sont entourés de deux palmes et surmontés de la couronne royale. Quillon décoré en relief d'une palmette. Fusée en bois gainé de veau filigrané.
Lame courbe à un pan creux, longueur 93 cm, largeur au talon 2,9 cm, épaisseur 9 mm. Le dos est signé « Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal Coulaux frères », talon poinçonné « CF » surmonté d'une étoile de l'inspecteur puis directeur A. Mancel, mars 1822 - mars 1823, et d'un « D » entouré de feuillages.

Fourreau en acier à deux bracelets de bélières et anneaux également en acier.
