COUVRE-SABRETACHE D'OFFICIER DE CAVALERIE LÉGÈRE OU DE LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE, Second Empire.

En cuir fin ciré noir bordé d'un galon de laine noire plié à cheval sur la bordure extérieure et cousu.
Le cuir est doublé d'une fine toile blanche. Il est composé d'un couvre-sabretache et d'un couvre-poche intérieur. Les deux parties sont fixées ensemble au moyen de 4 pattes en cuir à boutonnières et de 4 boutons en cuir roulé.
H 30,5 cm, largeur en partie haute 19,5 cm, largeur en partie basse 26,5 cm.
