CUIRASSE DE CUIRASSIER DE LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE, modèle 1854, Second Empire.

CUIRASSE en acier composée d’une dossière et d’un plastron pareillement matriculés sur les bords extérieurs « 431 » (elle avait été matriculée à deux reprises précédemment). Plastron bordé de 21 clous en laiton, marqué à l’intérieur « Manufacture Impériale Klingenthal ... (difficilement lisible entre la peinture d'origine et les traces d'oxydation) ».

Dossière bordée de 39 clous en laiton, garnie dans le haut de deux bretelles en cuir recouvertes d’une chaînette à maille en forme de 8 entrelacés en laiton avec serrure en acier, et dans le bas d’une ceinture en cuir noir. Dossière marquée « Manufacture Impériale Klingenthal ... (difficilement lisible entre la peinture d'origine et les traces d'oxydation) ».

Très bon état. Oxydation d’usage.
