Monture en laiton, garde à trois branches formant coquille décorée d'un médaillon au centre duquel est posé un coq gaulois, de part et d'autre du médaillon sont disposés des glaives, drapeau, masse, bonnet phrygien, carquois de flèches, calotte à longue queue décorée d'un casque empanaché à l'antique. Poignée en bois gainé de veau ciré noir filigrané de cuivre. Lame courbe à un pan creux (longueur 75 cm), peinte couleur argent. Sans fourreau.

Bon état, la fixation de la branche de garde supérieure au pommeau est désolidarisée mais non cassée.
