Monture en laiton, garde à quatre branches avec branche principale matriculée « 604 » avec poinçons de manufacture. Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau ciré noir et filigrané laiton, lame droite à deux pans creux (longueur 97 cm) gravée sur le dos « Manufacture impériale de Châtellerault octobre 1853 ». Fourreau en acier à deux bracelets de bélière.

Bon état, monture et poignée en très bon état, lame en très bon état dans son poli d'origine avec quelques petites taches d'oxydation pouvant parfaitement être nettoyées, fourreau oxydé à nettoyer.
