Bannière très richement brodée en fils de soie au naturel et passementeries d'or et d'argent sur une soie blanche et jaune.

Elle est brodée en son centre des armes papales et de l'inscription en or.

Cette bannière est celle offerte par une délégation d'une association de dames appartenant à de riches, et, influentes familles américaines aux Zouaves Pontificaux en 1867, avant Mentana, lors d'un voyage à Rome. Le fait est rapporté dans un ou plusieurs ouvrages de l'époque.

Dimensions : H 1,25 m; L 1,03 m.
